Ballet Changes Lives

For 22 years, Ballet Arts Conservatory has offered the Capital City a professional, nurturing and highly individualized approach to the study of classical ballet and dance.  Our teaching philosophy focuses on the development and safety of each student in a caring environment.  Our curriculum is influenced by and deeply rooted in dance science which allows us to focus on dancer health and safety while fostering self-discipline and creativity.  We encourage each child to reach their fullest potential.

Our faculty is comprised of seasoned, professional dance educators who have a passion for sharing their expertise and knowledge.  We seek to enrich the lives of our students through the study of dance.

Our professional, organized and caring approach to teaching makes Ballet Arts Conservatory a unique and special place in which to study dance and to grow up.

Won't you join us?

Youth Ballet Ensemble
and Performances

Mastering technique and developing artistry are essential, but performing is the dream of nearly every student who studies dance.  At Ballet Arts Conservatory, students have the opportunity to audition for and participate in our youth ballet ensemble.  With a focus on classical and contemporary ballet, students perform in two full-length productions annually where they are able to apply their practical skills, training and artistry from class to the stage. Recent performances have included full length ballets in the theatre setting as well as productions at Goodwood's Carriage House and the historic Southwood House.  Company dancers have had the pleasure to be the featured guest artists with the Tallahassee Youth Orchestra performing alongside youth musicians at Ruby Diamond Auditorium.   We encourage and support our students to participate in regional festivals, workshops and summer intensives to further their training and experience.   Dancers gain self-motivation, self-discipline, poise, grace, physical fitness and an appreciation for the arts which they can apply to every aspect of their lives.  Our youth ensemble's mission is to develop future artists today.
